Special interest in Meniere's syndrome.  Also  a special interest in the treatment of auricular hematoma and surgery for cauliflower ear. Interests also include Nasal Surgery including all types of nose and sinus surgery to include revision surgery for deviated septums and nasal fracture repair. Over 7,000 tonsillectomy surgeries performed. General otolaryngology: over 23,000 surgeries performed in over twenty-eight years of practice.  Dr. Hood also has an interest in performing workman's compensation evaluations, independent medical examinations, and disability examinations.
